Mac app
Hear both sides.
No screen sharing.
The GoGetEmTigers Mac app captures your microphone and the meeting's audio directly on your Mac โ two clean channels with accurate You / Them labels. It works with any meeting app (Zoom, Teams, Meet, a phone on speaker โ anything your Mac can play), and there's no tab-picker, no sharing dance. A tiny tiger in your menu bar does the listening; the meeting page stays your cockpit.
Meetings that use the Mac app run in maximum-accuracy mode and count 2ร minutes โ same rule as the browser's high-accuracy mode.
Set up in two minutes
-
1
Install. Open the downloaded
GoGetEmTigers.dmgand drag the tiger into Applications. Launch it once โ it appears in your menu bar (top-right), not the Dock. -
2
Start a meeting with it. On your dashboard, choose Mac app as the audio source when starting a meeting, then click Open Mac app when the meeting page asks and allow it in the browser dialog.
-
3
Grant permissions (first time only). macOS will ask for Microphone and System Audio Recording โ both are needed to hear you and the other side. The page shows "Mac app connected โ" and you're live.
Good to know
- ๐ง Headphones optional. The app hears the other side digitally, and it cancels the speaker echo your mic would otherwise pick up โ so lines don't double even without headphones. Prefer headphones? They still work great.
- ๐ฏ The menu-bar tiger has Pause, a link back to your dashboard, and Quit. If the menu bar is crowded (hello, notch), โ-drag the tiger toward the clock so it stays visible, or quit a menu-bar app you don't use.
- ๐ Nothing is stored. Audio streams live for the session and is never saved โ the same no-recording design as the rest of GoGetEmTigers (privacy policy).
- โป It only runs around meetings. Idle in the menu bar means capturing nothing โ capture starts when you pair a meeting and stops when the meeting ends. After 15 minutes without a meeting the app quits itself; your next meeting relaunches it automatically.
- ๐ช To quit or upgrade: click the tiger โ Quit โ or just open GoGetEmTigers again from Applications and click Quit in the dialog. Since the app quits itself when idle, upgrades usually just work.
Prefer no install?
The browser does it all too โ mic-only for in-person meetings, or tab/screen-share audio for online calls. The Mac app just makes online meetings effortless and the labels exact.
